Thaal Sinestro, often simply called Sinestro, is a character published by DC Comics who debuted in Green Lantern (Vol. 2) #7 in 1961. Originally a renowned member of the Green Lantern Corps from the planet Korugar, Sinestro was considered one of the greatest Green Lanterns.
However, his methods, involving strict and often brutal control to maintain order, led to his expulsion from the Corps. He sought power through other means, eventually forging a yellow power ring fueled by fear, becoming the archenemy of Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern of Earth.
In the aftermath of events depicted in "JusticeLeague: No Justice," Sinestro assembled a unique team, dubbed 'Team Mystery.'
